Hermine Haselböck is an Austrian mezzo-soprano renowned for her versatility in opera, concert and song, with a repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary music.

She has appeared in major opera houses and concert halls worldwide, including the Theater an der Wien, Vienna Volksoper, Opera Graz, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, Carnegie Hall (New York), the Vienna Musikverein, the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam.

Her operatic repertoire includes roles such as Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel), Brangäne (Tristan und Isolde), Fricka (Das Rheingold, Die Walküre) and Azucena (Il trovatore).

She has worked with conductors including Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Christian Thielemann, Franz Welser-Möst, Fabio Luisi, Kirill Petrenko, Gustav Kuhn, Bertrand de Billy and Jaap van Zweden, and has an extensive discography featuring award-winning solo recordings of songs by Zemlinsky and Mahler.

Hermine Haselböck is Full Professor of Voice and Head of the Voice Department at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. Her current focus lies on vocal pedagogy and the education of young singers.
